# Preview

> A rolling build cut from dev, for trying what is coming next.

Preview is a second channel. It is built from the `dev` branch and republished on every green commit, so it carries work that has not reached a release yet.

Everything on stable works the same way here. Preview also carries elements and options that stable does not have yet, and those are marked **Preview** in the sidebar and again at the top of their page.

## Not for what you ship

Preview is not a supported release. It moves whenever `dev` does, and anything in it can change shape or be dropped before it reaches stable. Pages for features that only exist here say so at the top.

Scripts you hand to other people should load the stable channel.

## Which build you are on

The bundle opens with a header comment naming the version and the commit it was built from.

```

Quote that line when you report anything you hit on preview.
